Hollywood festival awards Iran ‘Limit’

Hollywood Hills Awards has presented the award for best foreign short film to Iranian short title ‘Limit’ directed by Javad Daraei.

The festival organizers recently announced that the Iranian film received one of the awards it was nominated for.

The film had been nominated for best actor and best director awards as well.

Daraei’s short film is a spiritual adaption that employs novel metaphors to challenge the cliché hardships for physically impaired people.

The 7-minute short film is about the difficulties and problems in the daily lives of people with disability who are afraid to involve actively in the society because of the presuppositions and judgments.

‘Limit’ had previously taken part at the 32nd edition of the Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival in Florida, the US.

It has also competed at the MoonDance International Festival in the US, winning an award.

Based in the Hollywood Hills – home to many of the world’s top screenwriters, actors, directors, and producers – the international Hollywood Hills Awards offers filmmakers the opportunity to show they belong with the other masters of their craft.
