Short film ‘Black and White’ by late Iranian director Sohrab Shahid-Saless is to be screened at Goethe-Institut in London.
A media report said on Wednesday that Iran-based Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults scheduled this event in cooperation with Goethe-Institut to be held in November.
This comes as ‘Black and White’ was screened at a German cultural center in 2016.
“An utterly atypical entry into Shahid Saless’ sombre oeuvre, this irreverent stop-motion animated short is chock full of inventive twists and surprises,” the Goethe-Institut official website said of the film.
Sohrab Shahid-Saless was an Iranian film director and screenwriter and one of the most celebrated figures in Iranian cinema in the 20th century.
