‘Autumn Memories’ to vie in Cardiff

Iranian movie ‘Autumn Memories’ has been scheduled to be screened at the 28th edition of the Cardiff International Film Festival in the UK.

Directed by Ali Fakhr-Mousavi, the movie is a joint product of Iran, the Czech Republic, and Ukraine.

 ‘Autumn Memories’ is an anti-war love story which depicts the life of a girl whose home and family have been attacked by terrorist groups.

As a person who has experienced displacement, blindness and loss of speech, she can ultimately find peace and love in another part of the world along with people who are themselves affected by war.

The movie cast list includes Nazanin Ahmadi-Shahpourabadi, Aleksandr Ignatusha, Galyna Karpin, Oleksa Kravchuk, Dmytro Linartovych, Nazar Regush, Oleksandr Vakulyuk, Olga I-Voytanovich.

Founded in 1989, the Cardiff Film Festival is an annual movie event that takes place in Cardiff, Wales. It had previously been called the Cardiff Screen Festival.

The event is slated for October 27-29, 2017.
