Iran, M’sia to shoot tourism doc

Iran is to shoot ‘From Shiraz to Yazd: An Endless Moment’’ doc in collaboration with South Asian country of Malaysia.  

A local media report said Wednesday the doc will be co-produced by Mohammad-Ali Hosseinnejad from Iran and a Malaysian producer Zabrina Fernandez.

The Iranian producer told media that a professional Asian filmmaking team will be in charge of producing the film, adding the Iranian city of Yazd “recently inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List has grabbed a great deal of global attention.”

Du to such enthusiasm, a Malaysia-based filmmaking group endorsed by an influential media network “with a high penetration rate and a great number of audiences in countries such as China, South Korea, Japan and India decided to make the doc” on various attractions in Yaz, the producer also noted.

The film follows a touristic narration starting from Iranian city of Shiraz and will get to Yaz along the path. In between, historical and tourist attractions of Iran will be featured.

Iranian cities of Shiraz and Yazd are famous for historical and cultural textures, drawing a great deal of tourists to Iran each year.
