Latest edition of the Tehran International Short Film Festival has announced top 10 films selected by the audience.
The festival’s official website announced the 10 selected titles known after counting up more than 7,000 ballots.
‘Animal’ directed by Bahman and Bahram Ark, ‘Gaze’ directed by Farnoush Samadi, and ‘Flamingo’ directed by Amir Jafari are among the top 10.
The list also includes titles such as ‘Elephant's Shadow’ by Arman Khansarian, ‘Ara’ by Yousef Kargar, ‘Are You Volleyball?!’ by Mohammad Bakhshi, ‘Savadkouhi’ by Mohammad-Reza Majd, and ‘Birthday Night’ by Omid Shams.
The event included national competition, international competition and out of competition sections.
Organized by IYCS, affiliated to the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance and a member of International Short Film Conference, the festival is aimed to provide an opportunity for young filmmakers to exchange their experiences.
The 34th edition of the Tehran International Short Film Festival was directed by Seyyed-Sadeq Mousavi on October 17-22 in the Iranian capital city.
Its closing ceremony was held on Sunday.
