Iranian director Mohammad-Hossein Mahdavian’s latest project ‘Lottery’ has been set to vie at the 36th edition of Iran's Fajr Film Festival.
Produced by Seyyed-Mahmoud Razavi, the movie has recently started pre-production stage and the crew is choosing the cast now.
Hadi Hejazifar, one of the main casts of Mahdavian’s previous films ‘Stand In the Dust’ and ‘Midday Event’ will appear as the main character of ‘Lottery’ too.
The producer and director of the movie are trying their best to make the film ready for the 36th edition of the Fajr Film Festival.
Established in 1982, the Fajr Film Festival celebrates cultural exchange, displays creative achievements of highly acclaimed cineastes and pays tribute to local and international films.
Since its establishment, the Fajr Film Festival has played a vital role in the development of Iranian Cinema.
Supervised by Iran’s Ministry of Culture, the festival hosts veteran directors and new filmmakers from Iran and across the world every year.
The 36th Fajr Film Festival is scheduled to be held on ّFebruary 01-11, 2018, in Iran.
