Iran movie to vie at Bulgaria Filmfest

Iranian movie ‘Mina's Choice’ has been selected to be screened at the Sofia MENAR Filmfest in Bulgaria.

Directed by Kamal Tabrizi, ‘Mina’s Choice’ is to vie at the ninth edition of the MENAR Filmfest this month.

Produced in 2015, the movie is written by Farhad Tohidi and produced by Manouchehr Mohamadi.

Set in 1980s, the film narrates the story of the happy marriage of Mina and Mehran, which is broken in the wake of mistrust and finally infidelity.

Milad Keymaram, Mina Sadati, Shahrokh Foroutanian, Behrang Alavi, Shayesteh Irani and Siamak Ehsaei star in the movie.

Sofia MENAR Film Festival makes Bulgarian audiences familiar with the culture and traditions of the Islamic world.

The program of Sofia MENAR Film Festival presents the best of Middle East and North Africa cinema productions, including feature films, documentaries and short projects.

The event is set to be launched in Bulgaria on January 12 – 29.
