Int’l animation festival to launch in Iran

The 10th Tehran International Animation Festival (TIAF) is scheduled to be held in March.

The event will be held in various cinemas and cultural centers in the capital, Tehran, as well as provincial cinemas.

Held by the Institute for Intellectual Development of Children & Young Adults (IIDCYA), many award-winning animations will participate at the festival.

The Tehran Animation Festival is a competitive event which takes place biennially. The main goal is to promote animation and broaden cultural interchange.

TIAF is not specified just for children and young adults, but any kind of artistic animated films, including those for children, young adults and adults section, can be sent to the festival.

The 10th Tehran International Animation Festival (TIAF) will be held on March 5-9, 2017.
