Don’t miss ‘Misunderstanding’ with Pejman

Pejman’ series star is set to appear on Fajr fest’s screen with ‘The Misunderstanding’ directed by Ahmad Reza Motamedi.

Pajman Jamshidi, the ex-footballer-turned-actor, has played a role in Motamedi’s new offering to premiere at the latest edition of Fajr Film Festival in Iran.  

The star of popular ifilm series ‘Pejman’ joined an introduction session for the film run by some cast and crew.

Motamedi recently said of ‘The Misunderstanding’, “This film is the story of a hostage taking and deals with utter complexity in absolute simplicity.”

The film also has Iran acting powerhouses Merila Zarei as well as Akbar Abdi in the cast.

 Established in 1982, the Fajr Film Festival celebrates cultural exchange, displays creative achievements of highly acclaimed cineastes and pays tribute to local and international films.

Since its establishment, the Fajr Film Festival has played a vital role in the development of Iranian Cinema.

Supervised by Iran’s Ministry of Culture, the festival hosts veteran directors and new filmmakers from Iran every year.

The 36th edition of the Fajr Film Festival is slated for February 1-11, 2018, in Iran.
