Iranian short film ‘From Hasakeh with Love’ is scheduled to be screened at the 13th edition of A Film for Peace Festival in Italy.
The short film is to represent Iran at the Italian film event.
“A girl who lives in the ISIS invaded Kurdish city of Hasaka in Syria tries to find a way not to be captured by the terrorist fighters,” a short synopsis of the 9-minute film reads.
Directed by Mohammad Farahani, ‘From Hasakah with Love’ has so far succeeded to win Best Short Film Online Award at the DaVinci International Film Festival in the US as well as Best Subject and Best Film awards at the 11th edition of the Punto Di Vista Film Festival in Italy.
Founded in 2005, A Film for Peace Festival is one of the prestigious European filmfests. It screens Feature movies, animation, and documentary.
The 13th edition of the Italian event, according to the festival's website, is slated to wrap up on March 8, 2018. Not date has yet been announced for the fest's kick off.
