Iranian actor Ahmad Mehranfar has joined Ali Atshani’s latest project ‘Katyusha’.
At the final days of the film's pre-production stage, Mehranfar joined the cast to appear before the camera.
Linda Kiani, Mehran Rajabi, Khashayar Rad, Bijan Banafshe-Khah, Arjang Amir-Fazli, Leila Otadi and Qasem Zare are the other notable actors among the cast of the comdey.
Born in 1975, Ahmad Mehranfar has a Bachelor’s degree in Acting and a Master’s degree in Directing.
In 1999, he began his professional acting in theater and appeared on stage beside famous actors, such as Parviz Parastoui, Pantea Bahram, Amir Jafari, Mahtab Nasirpour and Habib Rezaee.
He became a household name for his role in the TV series ‘The Capital’ in 2011, as he played the role of Arastou.
Mehranfar has taken part in the TV series ‘The Bankers’, ‘The Capital 2’, ‘The Capital 3’ and ‘The Capital 4’, as well as in the television film ‘Virtual Reality’ from 2003 to 2015.
He has also appeared in several movies, including ‘About Elly’, ‘Nothing’, ‘Horses are Noble Animals’, ‘A Simple Romance’, ‘Without Reason or Cause’, ‘Testimony for God’ and ‘Trapped’ from 2008 to 2012.
Besides acting, he directed and wrote the play ‘Afghan Scholar’.
