Iran animation ‘Alphabet’ has been scheduled to be screened at the second edition of Moving Pictures Festival in Belgium.
Directed by Kianoush Abedi, is to represent Iran at Belgium film event.
Alphabet is a 3D animation produced in late 2017. The 6-minute animated piece depicts a nation that has forgotten the alphabet of living. They cannot see, cannot hear, and cannot speak, but the words are waiting for them eagerly.
“According to my observation, humans are moving away from their true selves with each passing day. The animation is for adults,” Abedi said about the story of his work.
Founded in 2017, the quarterly Moving Pictures Festival is a film event in which the audience is the jury and chooses their favorite national and international flicks.
The 2018 edition of the event is slated for 20-24 February, Belgium.
