Iranian film 'Animal' by Bahman and Bahram Ark has been picked to screen at the 22nd edition of REGARD-Saguenay International Short Film Festival in Canada.
The 22nd REGARD festival in Canada will review a series of films from Iran during the event, which will be held from March 14-18.
‘Animal’ depicts the story of a man who wants to pass the border illegally; so, he hunts a ram and decides to escape disguised as the animal.
Co-directed by filmmakers Bahram and Bahman Ark, ‘Animal’ won the Liberty Global International Student Filmmaker Award at the 40th Denver Film Festival.
Another Iranian film to screen at the festival include 'Retouch' by Kaveh Mazaheri.
REGARD – Saguenay International Short Film Festival is one of the most important short film festivals in North America. Each year, the event, which was founded in 1995 in Saguenay (Quebec, Canada) presents around 200 international and Quebec short films.
