Iranian director Farnoush Samadi's 'Gaze' is slated to be screened at the Regard International Short Film Festival in Canada.
Written by Ali Asgari and directed by Samadi, the flick has so far represented Iran at a number of globally acclaimed film festivals, including the 70th edition of the Locarno Film Festival in Switzerland and the 34th edition of the Tehran Short Film Festival in Iran.
The short film depicts the story of a woman who on her way back home learns about an incident on the bus. She is undecided whether to reveal the issue or not.
REGARD – Saguenay International Short Film Festival is one of the most important short film festivals in North America.
Each year, the event, which was founded in 1995 in Saguenay (Quebec, Canada) presents around 200 international and Quebec short films.
The 22nd edition of the festival is to be launched on March 14-18.
