Iranian animated piece ‘Secret of Butterflies’ has been set to compete at the 10th International Children’s Film Festival in India.
Directed and produced by Ali Tanhaee, the flick took 3 years to produce and has so far vied in several domestic festivals.
It got a nomination from the 2017 edition of Isfahan International Festival of Films for Children and Young adults for ‘Best Children Film’ and ‘Best Director’.
‘Through a whole gamut of feature films, short films, feature animations, animation short and documentaries procured with an aim for entertainment from all over the world, it aims to showcase the right content inculcating moral values and worldwide view’, a page on and about the festival’s website reads.
The 10th edition of the event is slated to be held on May 5-13, 2018, in the Indian city of Lucknow.
