Iranian short film 'Retouch' has grabbed an award from the 14th edition of the TALCA International Film Festival in Chile.
Directed by Kaveh Mazaheri, ‘Retouch’ succeeded to win Best Short Film Award from the competition section of the Chilean film event.
The flick depicts the story of a young woman whose husband dies before her eyes and she just observes the tragic scene.
'Retouch' has recently won a series of top prizes from several international festivals, including the 4th Short Movie Club Film Festival in Belarus, the 9th session of the Cinalfama Lisbon’s International Film Festival in Portugal, and Best Actress Award from the 1st Sukhum International Film Festival in Abkhazia.
Founded in 2005, the TALCA International Short Film Festival aims to offer a selection of the best independent, innovative and experimental short films from around the world. On the other hand, it is to contribute to the exchange of local and international stories in this world where ideas and culture break the borders for the benefit of all.
The 2018 edition of the event was held on April 10-14, 2018.
