‘Madineh’ to hit iFilm English playlist

iFilm English TV has added Iranian series ‘Madineh’  to 2023 playlist.  

The series, produced by Zeinab Taqvaee and directed by Sirous Moqaddam, will start airing on Wednesday February 22.

Madineh is about a courageous and strong woman who does her best to bring her family back together after losing her husband, Jahan, who leaves a factory to his son, Bahman.

Greed leads Bahman and his biological mother, Rouhi to take out a loan on interest which alters their lives forever.

Parivash Nazariyeh, Maryam Kaviani, Anahita Afshar, Mehrdad Seddiqian, Majid Salehi, and Shabnam Moqaddami make the cast team of the show.

‘Madineh’, made in 2014, will replace ‘Years of Snow and Violet’. The new series will be aired daily at 18:00 GMT.

iFilm English will also repeat each episode of the social drama on the next day at 00:00, 09:00 and 15:00 (all GMT times). The series is comprised of 27 episodes.
