Grandpa to meet devil in ‘Coma’

Grandpa is to meet the Devil in iFilm English TV’s spiritual drama ‘Coma’.

“An old powerless man like me has forced you to wait around by his hospital bed and waste your time until you can take his life away?! Take his life so you can feel good about yourself?! And you call me a low-life … the truth of us humans is transcendental because it’s from God’s spirit. Our nature is despicable. And you want to do everything you can to let our nature overcome our truth and you can’t. And with God’s help, you never will except with a small number of us. This is all very bad for you and your kind for all the trouble that you go through,” the grandpa says.

Directed by Sirous Moqaddam, the series portrays the predicament of Dr. Pajouhan in his life. He is regarded as the best neurosurgeon in the country but has to make the difficult choice of performing a surgical procedure on his ailing wife.

Despite his better judgment, he decided to perform the surgery on her because she insisted. However, if things do not proceed as planned during the surgery, the doctor will have to live with the consequences of his choice.

The cast list includes the late Amin Tarokh, Esmaeel Khalaj, Shiva Khonyagar, Shirin Bina, Nafiseh Roshan, Afshin Sangchap, Farahnaz Manafi-Zaher, Hamed Komeili, Iraj Nozari, Laya Zanganeh, and Abdolreza Akbari.
