From 'My Sky' to heavenly invitation: iFilm cut

The strong emotions in the eighth episode of iFilm’s action series ‘My Sky’ is going to break your heart.

A mentally challenged man-child is looking for taking everyone to heaven. In his pure immaculate world, he can see some angles that invite him to heaven and the way to go there is through stopping people from sins.

Unfortunately, his elderly mother is unable to bear the fact that he returns home injured due to people taking offense at his mental state. Whenever he finds himself in a conflict with others, they respond by inflicting severe physical harm upon him, as if inviting him to an early demise.

The situation gets dire as the boy learns that his mother plans to have him institutionalized in order to protect him from harm.

‘My Sky’, directed and produced by Mohammad-Reza Ahanj, is an action drama that touches on the hardships and the selfless acts of aviation security teams in Iran in order to ensure safe flights for passengers and the crew.

In the series, different incidents happen which require a good deal of devotion, courage, and above all, experience on the part of the security staff.

Cast list of the series includes Amir Aqaee, Elham Charkhandeh, Atila Pesyani, Amir-Hossein Modarres, Danial Hakimi, Amin Hayaee, Pejman Bazeghi, Hamed Behdad, Hassan Pourshirazi, Ahmad Najafi, Rahim Norouzi, and Farhad Jam.

‘My Sky’ is aired daily at 19:00 GMT. Each episode of the series will be re-aired the next day at 03:00, 08:00 and 14:00. It is comprised of 29 episodes.
