Review on Iran, world cinema box office last weekend: Part 9

Once again this week another mystery adventure finds its way to the top of the Dubai box office list.

Directed by Roby Varghese, ‘Kannur Squad’ movie, sells 33,175 passes this week to surpass its rivals and ascent to the first place on the list.

This leads to Bollywood movie ‘Jawan’ to leave its place and move to the forth slot on the box office. Yet it succeeds to maintain the first rank of this year's bestsellers.

During the 40th week of 2023, the film succeeded to attract 44,194 cinema goers to the theater halls in Dubai.

Kevin Greutert’s ‘Saw X’ secures the second position on the list in its first week of being on screen. This week the horror thriller attracts 27,136 spectators to the theaters.

The third best-selling movie of the week was an animation titled ‘Paw Patrol: The Mighty Movie’. The movie succeeds to sell 20,084 passes to moviegoers of the country.
