iFilm English TV to air ‘Kissing the Moonlike Face’

iFilm’s movie ‘Kissing the Moonlike Face’ has been scheduled to be aired on December 16, 2023.

The movie, produced by Manouchehr Mohammadi and directed by Homayoun Asadian, reviews the story of mothers who are seeking for their sons.

In ‘Kissing the Moonlike Face’, Ehteramossadat and Forough are two elderly women who, after many years, are still waiting for the return of their sons from the battlefront.

The women form a close friendship sharing the pain of the absence of their children.

Every week, they visit Iran Martyrs' Foundation in search of news on their sons, until one day when Ehteramossadat goes there on her own and finds out that...

The cast list of the movie includes Shirin Yazdanbakhsh, Saber Abar, Shahrokh Foroutanian, Masoud Rayegan, Shabnam Moqaddami, Amir-Hossein Rostami, Saeed Pour-Samimi, and Rabe’eh Madani.

‘Kissing the Moonlike Face’, made in 2011, is scheduled to go on air at 22:00 GMT.

iFilm English TV will also repeat the movie the next day at 04:00, 10:00 and 16:00 (all GMT times).
