iFilm English TV to air finale for ‘Vafa’

iFilm English TV Channel has been set to air the final episode of ‘Vafa’ on Monday.

The final episode of the series, produced by Mansour Sohrabpour and directed by Mohammad-Hossein Latifi, will be aired on July 13, 2026, at 21:00 GMT.

Joobin's mission hangs in the balance as he faces off against Kharchang. Will he survive the gunshot or is this the end for our hero?

The series tells the story of a man who is entangled in a spying game while he is trying to reunite with his beloved.

The man called Joobin has spent the last two years of his life in an Iranian prison for something he swears he has not done.

When some mysterious figures break him out of prison, the only thing on his mind is to get himself to his beloved in Lebanon, Vafa, whom he left behind two years ago.

Mohsen Khavari, a detective at Tehran's police department, is hot on Joobin's trail and follows him to Beirut for bringing him back to justice.

Joobin soon figures out that it was his uncle along with his deceased father who helped him escape and that they were spies working for Israel.

He's now caught up in a game of espionage as it becomes clear that the Israelis are only using Joobin as a tool to get to their real target which is assassinating Vafa's brother.

A number of lebanese actors and some well-known Iranian stars, including Hanieh Tavassoli, Farhad Aslani, Pouria Poursorkh, Farhad Qaemian, Mohammad-Reza Iranmanesh, Majid Yasser, and Mohsen Qazi-Moradi, are on the cast list.

‘Vafa’, produced in 2006, will be replaced by ‘The Gift of Darkness’ directed by Jalil Saman.
