iFilm to wave goodbye to ‘Setayesh 3’

iFilm English TV Channel has been set to air the final episode of Iranian popular series ‘Setayesh 3’ on Thursday night.

The final episode of the series, produced by Arman Zarrinkoub and directed by Saeed Soltani, will be aired on March 14, 2024.

In the series, you saw Taher, a veteran from Iraqi imposed war on Iran, who found himself in love with Setayesh, his friend’s sister.

The two got married but then Taher died in a car crash and Setayesh decided to bring up her kids as her deceased husband wanted.

She had to go into hiding; otherwise, her father-in-law would separate her from her two kids.

The second season showed Setayesh and her two kids after 22 years, while a lot has changed in their lives.

And the third season features some new adventures in the life of Setayesh with the grandpa getting too old!

The most notable on the cast list are Daryoush Arjmand, Narges Mohammadi, Fariba Naderi, Mehdi Solouki, Sima Tirandaz, Saeed Pirdoust, Atash Taqipour, Shahrouz Ebrahimi, Kamand Amir-Soleymani, Mahtaj Nojoumi, Behzad Khodaveisi, Amir-Mohammad Zand, Mohammad-Hadi Qomeyshi, Keihan Maleki, Akram Mohammadi, Qorban Najafi, Farhad Jam, Mehdi Miami, Shahram Pour-Asad, Laleh Marzban, Rasoul Najafian, Mohammad-Reza Davoudnejad, Maryam Khodarahmi, Ali Taleblou, Majid Shahriari, and Safa Aqajani.

The third season of ‘Setayesh’, produced in 2018, will be replaced by the popular comedy ‘Pejman’ made by Soroush Sehhat.
