iFilm English TV to wave goodbye to ‘Playmate’

The final episode of iFilm English TV Channel’s ‘Playmate’ has been scheduled to go on air on Tuesday.

Produced by Navid Mahmoudi and directed by Soroush Mohammadzadeh, the series finale will be aired tonight at 22:00 GMT and repeated tomorrow at 04:00, 10:00, and 16:00.

In ‘Playmate’, Mehran and Leila are cousins who were childhood playmates.

Their grandfather has always insisted that they should marry each other, but now that they’re grown up, the two have different plans for their lives.

The cast list of the series includes Hossein Mehri, Diba Zahedi, Niloufar Koukhani, Amir Kazemi, Homayoun Ershadi, Ali Osivand, Maryam Momen, Atila Pesyani, Behnam Tashakkor, Iman Safa, Kamran Tafti and Kamand Amir-Soleymani.

‘Playmate’ will be replaced by iFilm’s popular drama ‘Under the Blade’, directed by Mohammad-Reza Honarmand.
