iFilm English to begin airing ‘Heads on Gallows’

The Iranian series 'Heads on Gallows' is to be broadcast on iFilm English TV.

This classic Iranian series, directed by Mohammad-Ali Najafi, is scheduled to air starting Wednesday, June 26, 2024.

‘Heads on Gallows’ portrays a historical period when parts of Iran were ravaged by Tatar and Mongol forces.

The series chronicles the efforts of Iranians who organized a movement to liberate their country from cruelty and oppression.

The uprising of the people of Khorasan and their leaders marks a significant milestone in Iranian history, leading to the country's liberation after 120 years of tyranny.

The cast includes notable actors such as Atash Taqipour, the late Amin Tarokh, Ali Nasiriyan, Alireza Mojallal, the late Fath-Ali Oveisi, the late Mohammad-Ali Keshavarz, and Enayat Bakhshi.

Produced in 1984, 'Heads on Gallows' will replace 'The Thief of Souls' and will be aired daily at 19:00 GMT.

iFilm English TV will also repeat each episode of the social drama the following day at 03:00, 08:00, and 14:00 GMT.

The series consists of 18 episodes.
