iFilm English TV to air ‘Iran’s Orphanage’

iFilm English TV Channel’s feature film ‘Iran’s Orphanage’ has been scheduled to go on air on Saturday.

The movie, produced by Mohammad-Reza Takhtkeshian and directed by Abolqasem Talebi, is a historical drama.

'Iran’s Orphanage' depicts the heartbreaking events that took place in the early 20th century in Iran when famine, cholera and other crises devastated the country.

Nearly nine million people died as a result of the mismanagement of the crises and the direct interference of foreign powers.

The movie’s cast list includes the late Daryoush Asadzadeh, Ahou Kheradmand, Jafar Dehqan, Aliram Nouraee, Farrokh Nemati, Saleh Mirza-Aqaee, Iman Safa, Qotbeddin Sadeqi, and Ali Shademan.

‘Iran’s Orphanage’, made in 2014, is scheduled to go on air at 22:00 GMT.

iFilm English TV also repeats the movie the next day at 04:00, 10:00 and 16:00.
