The very first suitor at Shams-ol-Emareh’s door

The very first suitor shows up at Leila’s door in the eighth episode of iFilm English TV Channel’s ‘Shams-ol-Emareh’.

With the help of Aunt Shamsi and Uncle Hormoz, the neighbor and Pari, Zivar and Rahmat, and of course Sharifeh, the first suitor finally comes to the mansion.

Leila is a little scared and nervous. However, her energy level looks to be really high, and it seems to be the same for the suitor too.

Produced by Ramin Abbasizadeh and directed by Saman Moqaddam, ‘Shams-ol-Emareh’ hits the air daily at 20:00 GMT. Each episode of the 49-part show is repeated the next day at 01:00, 07:00 and 12:00.

In 'Shams-ol-Emareh', after Leila's father passes away, he leaves her a significant inheritance, which includes a family mansion called Shams-ol-Emareh. However, there is a condition for her to receive the mansion, and that is her marriage.

That might not be a problem for most other girls, but Leila has always presented herself as an independent female with no interest in ever getting married. Now, she faces a tough choice.

Will she sacrifice her beliefs for her inheritance, or stay single?
