‘Stairway to Heaven’ to hit 2025 iFilm playlist

iFilm English TV channel has announced the addition of the Iranian historical drama ‘Stairway to Heaven’ to its 2025 playlist.

Directed by Mohammad-Hossein Latifi, the series is set to premiere on February 6, 2025, airing daily at 23:00 GMT. 

‘Stairway to Heaven’ narrates the story of Jamshid Kashani, a renowned 15th-century Iranian astronomer who made groundbreaking scientific discoveries during the turbulent period of Timur Mongol’s invasion. 

The series, originally produced in 2009, features a star-studded cast, including Vahid Jalilvand, Jamshid Jahanzadeh, Vishka Asayesh, Mehdi Faqih, Borzou Arjmand, Sara Khoueeniha, Hassan Pourshirazi, Farhad Qaemian, Shabnam Qolikhani, Rahim Norouzi, and Mahchehreh Khalili. 

The 21-episode series will replace ‘Saint Mary’ on iFilm English.

Viewers who miss the original broadcast can catch repeats the following day at 05:00, 11:00, and 17:00 GMT.
