iFilm English TV to air new series ‘The Fall of Sahra’

Iranian mini-series ‘The Fall of Sahra’ has been set to go on iFilm English TV Channel’s schedule from Tuesday night.

Made by Asadollah Niknejad, the series tells the story of a couple belonging to two different social classes, Sahra and Sasan, whose marriage is about to fail due to the issues caused by Sasan's mother.

The cast list of the series includes Shahla Mirbakhtiar, Jamileh Sheikhi, Jamshid Mashayekhi, Azita Lachini, Esmaeel Davarfar, and Daryoush Moaddabian.

‘The Fall of Sahra’, made in 1985-6, is scheduled to replace ‘Hereafter’, to be on iFilm’s screen every day at 23:00 GMT.

iFilm English TV will also repeat each episode of the new series the next day at 05:00, 11:00 and 17:00. It is comprised of six episodes.
