Barqnavard, Houman (born December 26, 1969)

Houman Barqnavard was born in a family of theater enthusiasts.

Despite his passion to watch plays from an early age, he believes that the spectacular theater performances he witnessed at the age of 18 drove him to acting.

Barqnavard soon stepped on stage for the first time to pursue his acting dreams. He made his television debut in 1995.

His roles in comedy series such as ‘Medical Building’ (2010-2011) as well as ‘Cops and Robbers’ (2012) gained him a nationwide fame.

He has acted in a number of series, including ‘Bench’ (2005-2006), ‘Saadat Guesthouse’ (2006), ‘Awakening’ (2008), ‘Tears and Smiles’ (2008-2009), ‘Factor 8’ (2009), ‘On the Way to Zayandeh Rood’ (2010), ‘The Bounced Check’ (2011-2012), ‘The Times’ (2012), ‘Chimney’ (2013), ‘Bad Days Pass’ (2013-2014), ‘The Recluse’ (2014), and ‘Shahrzad’ (2014-2015).

Barqnavard has also appeared in movies such as ‘A Piece of Bread’ (2004), ‘Retribution’ (2009), ‘The Queen’ (2011), ‘Strawberry Dessert ‘ (2011), ‘The Sinners’ (2012), ‘Hard Makeup’ (2013), and ‘A Nice Dinner’ (2014).
