Iranian short flick ‘Mirror’ has been among the selected works to go on screen at the Jaipur International Film Festival (JIFF) in India.

Directed by Faranak Moradi, the short film will be shown at the 14th edition of the Indian event.

‘Mirror’ is about a woman who upon the death of her brother-in-law pays a visit to her sister for consolation.

At the time of her visit, she goes to their basement where a secret unravels.

The film’s cast list includes Nasim Moslemi, Bahar Radmand, and Behnaz Jafari.

‘Mirror’ has already toured a number of global fests, including the LA Shorts International Film Festival in the US and the Iranian Film Festival Zurich in Switzerland.

The JIFF, the world's fastest-growing film festival, is held annually in January or February in Jaipur, India.

The 14th edition of the JIFF, slated for January 7-11, 2022, will have Iranian filmmaker, Hassan Najmabadi, among its jury members.
