iFilm English to air ‘Midday Adventures’

iFilm English TV has been scheduled to air ‘Midday Adventures’ on Saturday night.

The movie, directed by Mohammad-Hossein Mahdavian and produced by Seyyed-Mahmoud Razavi, is a political drama.

It tells the story of the terrorist attacks in Iran by the People’s Mujahidin Organization, aka Monafeqin, in the early years of the Islamic Revolution.

The film sets in the time of the political unrests when Monafeqin started a series of assassinations during which they martyred a number of important political figures of the time.

The Iranian intelligence service, a group of young pious men who took over and handled the affairs, tries to stop them from bringing down the government and killing civilians.

The cast list of the flick includes popular iFilm stars such as Javad Ezzati, Mehrdad Seddiqian, Linda Kiani, Mehdi Pakdel, Ahmad Mehranfar, and Hadi Hejazifar.

‘Midday Adventures’ was premiered at the 35th Fajr Film Festival, where it grabbed a series of awards, including a Crystal Simorgh for the Best Film.

It will hit the air on February 4, 2023 at 22:00 GMT. iFilm TV will also repeat the movie the next day at 04:00, 10:00 and 16:00.
