‘Prophet Moses’ movie to be premiered

The highly anticipated cinematic adaptation of ‘Prophet Moses’, directed by acclaimed Iranian filmmaker Ebrahim Hatamikia, is gearing up for its debut at the Fajr International Film Festival in Iran.

This marks the first theatrical version of the monumental series, which will span five seasons and explore the life of Prophet Moses (PBUH).

Peyman Jebeli, the head of IRIB, described the project as an artistic and technical marvel, with the childhood phase of Moses being a particularly rich and dramatic centerpiece.

The series, long in pre-production, faced several delays due to director changes and technical advancements.

Originally helmed by the late Farajollah Salahshour, the series transitioned to Jamal Shourjeh, who later stepped down due to health issues, before landing with Hatamikia.

Actors Alireza Kamali and Merila Zarei will headline the cinematic version, as seen in the teaser, which hints at epic and visually stunning scenes.

The production, supported by cutting-edge studio technologies, is advancing swiftly, with the team aiming for completion by next summer.
