iFilm English TV to start airing ‘A House without a Bird’

Iranian series ‘A House without a Bird’ has been scheduled to be aired by iFilm English TV Channel.

The series, produced by Amir-Hossein Sharifi and directed by Kazem Masoumi, starts on April 1, 2025.

The drama narrates the story of Abbas and his wife, who have been looking for their daughter, whom they lost during the war some thirty years ago.

After they publish an advertisement for the missing person in a newspaper, a young woman shows up and claims to be their long-lost daughter.

A DNA test confirms that she is indeed Abbas’s daughter, bringing joy to their lives.

But the discovery also threatens to reveal a deep, dark secret that Abbas has been hiding all these years, which could tear their family apart.

The most notable on the cast list are Mohammad Hatami, Saeed Nikpour, Ahou Kheradmand, Esmaeel Khalaj, and Jafar Dehqan.

‘A House without a Bird’, made in 2009, will be a replacement for ‘The Fall of Sahra’, which is set to be aired daily at 23:00 GMT.

iFilm English TV will also repeat each episode of the social drama on the next day at 05:00, 11:00 and 17:00. The series comprises 32 episodes.
