The day of Gaza which is commemorated on January 19 in Iran is the symbol of resistance of Palestinians against the Zionist regime.

The day has been named ‘Day of Gaza’ commemorating the resistance of the brave Palestinian people during the 22 days of the Zionist regime’s aggression on the Gaza strip in 2008-9.

Led by a charismatic leader named Ayatollah Khomeini, Iranians finally succeeded in changing the country’s system to an Islamic Republic.
