Some parts of iFilm’s historical series ‘The Enigma of the Shah’ are about the illegitimate Zionist regime in Palestine.

The day of Gaza which is commemorated on January 19 in Iran is the symbol of resistance of Palestinians against the Zionist regime.

The day has been named ‘Day of Gaza’ commemorating the resistance of the brave Palestinian people during the 22 days of the Zionist regime’s aggression on the Gaza strip in 2008-9.

Directed by Mohammad-Reza Varzi, ‘The Enigma of the Shah’ recounts Iran’s contemporary history, beginning with the rule of Reza Shah Pahlavi and ending with the Islamic Revolution of Iran which brought down the Pahlavi Dynasty.

In 1979, the Iranian nation rose up to bring an end to the dictatorship of Mohammad Reza Shah Pahlavi.

Led by a charismatic leader named Ayatollah Khomeini, Iranians finally succeeded in changing the country’s system to an Islamic Republic.

Some of the most notable on the prolific cast list are Jafar Dehqan, Hessam Navvab-Safavi, Ali Dehkordi, Rahim Norouzi, Arsalan Qasemi, Mehraveh Sharifinia, Hadis Fouladvand, Mohammad-Reza Sharifinia, Gohar Kheirandish, Siavash Tahmoures and Sorayya Qasemi.

The Gaza Strip or Gaza is situated on the eastern coast of the Mediterranean Sea. It borders Egypt on the southwest for 11 kilometers and the Zionist regime on the east and north along a 51 km border. Together, the Gaza Strip and the West Bank make up the State of Palestine.
