Akbar to say last word in iFilm’s ‘The Chef’

Chef Akbar Aali-Maqam is to have the last word in the argument in the 4th episode of iFilm’s ‘The Chef’ to be aired at 18:00 GMT tonight (21:30 Tehran time).

The TV interview Minou had was supposed to be a big step to improve the status of their family-run restaurant; but on the contrary, it ruined the marital satisfaction in the family life cycle of Akbar and his wife Minou.

When the fight kicked off between the couple, everyone in the family thought the quarrel of lovers is the renewal of love.

It, however, has come to their surprise when Akbar says it loud and clear that the only way for him to forgive Minou is if she goes to another TV interview in which she apologizes to the whole family.

The second thing Akbar wants as a way to heal his wounded heart is for Minou to stop working in his restaurant! Is this for real? Is Minou going to buy that order and back off?

Directed by Mohammad-Reza Honarmand and produced by Javad Norouz-Beigi, ‘The Chef’ tells the story of a happily married couple who run one of the most successful restaurants in Tehran.

The husband is the head chef and the wife is the manager. But when she goes around tooting her own horn on a television show, without acknowledging her husband's efforts, he takes offence and leaves the restaurant to launch a new one.

What starts out as a small argument, keeps rising until it threatens to tear their family apart.

The series cast list includes Farhad Aslani, Parviz Parastouee, the late Seyyed-Ali Tabatabaee, Kazem Balouchi, Mehraveh Sharifinia, Fatemeh Motamed-Arya, Asha Mehrabi, Melika Sharifinia, Shabnam Moqaddami, Mohammad-Reza Ghaffari, and the late Jamshid Mashayekhi.
