Aalimaqam siblings to convene for an urgent meeting

In tonight’s episode of ‘The Chef’ to be aired at 18:00 GMT, the Aalimaqam siblings are to convene for an urgent meeting to mend their shattered family bonds.

The ambiance in the Aalimaqam family is in a tumultuous state, as Minou and Akbar’s fight seem to be directing them in an unreturnable path. They soon will file for a divorce and that is what scares their children to the extent that they congregate to find a solution to improve the situation.

Amidst the resolutions each one of them offers, the youngest son of the family proposes a practical one. What do you think he suggests?

Directed by Mohammad-Reza Honarmand and produced by Javad Norouz-Beigi, ‘The Chef’ tells the story of a happily married couple who run one of the most successful restaurants in Tehran.

The husband is the head chef and the wife is the manager. But when she goes around tooting her own horn on a television show, without acknowledging her husband's efforts, he takes offence and leaves the restaurant to launch a new one.

What starts out as a small argument, keeps rising until it threatens to tear their family apart.

The series cast list includes Farhad Aslani, Parviz Parastouee, the late Seyyed-Ali Tabatabaee, Kazem Balouchi, Mehraveh Sharifinia, Fatemeh Motamed-Arya, Asha Mehrabi, Melika Sharifinia, Shabnam Moqaddami, Mohammad-Reza Ghaffari, and the late Jamshid Mashayekhi.
