Minou to ruin surprise in ‘The Chef’: iFilm cut

Minou is to ruin the thoughtful surprise her children have prepared in tonight’s episode of ‘The Chef’ to be aired at 18:00 GMT.

The unending contention inside the Alimaqams’ house has made everyone in the family nervous.

Minou and Akbar as the parents of the family have turned the warm atmosphere of the home into a battle field and the victims of this never ending war are their four children.

The four siblings have planned to end this bitter fight and that is why they have prepared a surprise party to celebrate their parents’ wedding anniversary.

Akbar arriving late to the party adds fuel to Minou’s anger and so she demolishes all her children had planned and prepared.

Directed by Mohammad-Reza Honarmand and produced by Javad Norouz-Beigi, ‘The Chef’ tells the story of a happily married couple who run one of the most successful restaurants in Tehran.

The husband is the head chef and the wife is the manager. But when she goes around tooting her own horn on a television show, without acknowledging her husband's efforts, he takes offence and leaves the restaurant to launch a new one.

What starts out as a small argument, keeps rising until it threatens to tear their family apart.

The series cast list includes Farhad Aslani, Parviz Parastouee, the late Seyyed-Ali Tabatabaee, Kazem Balouchi, Mehraveh Sharifinia, Fatemeh Motamed-Arya, Asha Mehrabi, Melika Sharifinia, Shabnam Moqaddami, Mohammad-Reza Ghaffari, and the late Jamshid Mashayekhi.
