In the 26th episode of iFilm series ‘In the Eye of the Storm’, to be aired tonight at 22:00 GMT (1:30 Tehran time), Leili finds herself torn between her loyalty as a Soviet officer and her love for Bijan, her childhood sweetheart, whom she valiantly saved from the clutches of the Soviet army.

Leili faces an agonizing decision that could shape her entire future. The Soviet army, demanding Bijan's cooperation, aims to send him into exile.

As Leili grapples with her conflicting loyalties, her heart yearns for a life intertwined with Bijan's. The weight of her duty as an officer pulls her one way, while the deep bond she shares with Bijan tugs at her from another.

Bijan's father, a former comrade-in-arms to Leili's own father, presents her with a letter left behind by her beloved dad.

This unexpected revelation has the power to alter everything she thought she knew. As Leili reads the contents of the letter, the truth it holds becomes a transformative force in her life.

'In the Eye of the Storm' is a captivating television series, produced by Masoud Jafari-Jozani, Abbas Akbari, Habibollah Kasehsaz, and Reza Ansarian, with Jafari-Jozani at the helm as the director.

The series chronicles a significant period in Iran's history, spanning from the early twentieth century revolutionary movements led by national hero Mirza Koochak Khan to the liberation of Khoramshahr during the Iran-Iraq war in the 1980s.

Through the lens of one Iranian family, the series delves into their trials and tribulations, exploring the complexities of love and relationships amidst the backdrop of historical events.

The stellar cast of 'In the Eye of the Storm' includes acclaimed actors such as Parsa Pirouzfar, Sima Tirandaz, Jahangir Almasi, Laleh Eskandari, Akbar Abdi, Mostafa Zamani, Sam Derakhshani, Gelareh Abbasi, Saeed Rad, Kambiz Dirbaz, Saeed Nikpour, Mohammad-Reza Hedayati, Houman Seyyedi, and Fakhreddin Seddiq-Sharif.
