A mysterious package from past: iFilm cut from ‘In the Eye of the Storm’

In the 35th episode of iFilm series ‘In the Eye of the Storm’, to be aired tonight at 22:00 GMT (1:30 Tehran time), the life of Bijan, whose journey from a young boy in the woods of Gilan to a middle-aged neurosurgeon in the US is about to take an unexpected turn.

Over three decades have passed since the heart-wrenching loss of Leili, Bijan's beloved wife and childhood sweetheart, at the hands of the Soviet army.

Despite the tragic past, Bijan appears to have rebuilt his life and established himself in Los Angeles, finding solace in his profession and even a budding romantic connection with a psychologist who has expressed her affection for him.

Just when life seems to be stabilizing, an enigmatic package arrives from Iran, turning Bijan's world upside down. Shockingly, the package bears the name of his deceased wife, Leili!

But how can this be possible? Questions and emotions surge through Bijan's heart as he grapples with the reality of the situation.

'In the Eye of the Storm' is a captivating television series, produced by Masoud Jafari-Jozani, Abbas Akbari, Habibollah Kasehsaz, and Reza Ansarian, with Jafari-Jozani at the helm as the director.

The series chronicles a significant period in Iran's history, spanning from the early twentieth century revolutionary movements led by national hero Mirza Koochak Khan to the liberation of Khoramshahr during the Iran-Iraq war in the 1980s.

Through the lens of one Iranian family, the series delves into their trials and tribulations, exploring the complexities of love and relationships amidst the backdrop of historical events.
