‘In the Eye of the Storm’ to revive past memories: iFilm cut

In the 36th episode of iFilm series ‘In the Eye of the Storm’, to be aired tonight at 22:00 GMT (1:30 Tehran time), a letter from Iran will resurrect the sweet past memories.

Years ago, Leili gambled her life and that of her unborn baby to save the one of her beloved, Bijan. She took the risk of going back to the soviet army; although, she knew her previous fleeing would be of lethal consequences.

The trauma of that last time that Bijan could ever see his childhood sweetheart and wife made him make a drastic change in his life.

He, who now is a reputable neurosurgeon in the US, receives a letter that will bring back all his past sweet memories to life. Leili has written to him telling him how much she cares for him and how she and their son Abbas are dying to see him.

'In the Eye of the Storm' is a captivating television series, produced by Masoud Jafari-Jozani, Abbas Akbari, Habibollah Kasehsaz, and Reza Ansarian, with Jafari-Jozani at the helm as the director.

The series chronicles a significant period in Iran's history, spanning from the early twentieth century revolutionary movements led by national hero Mirza Koochak Khan to the liberation of Khoramshahr during the Iran-Iraq war in the 1980s.

Through the lens of one Iranian family, the series delves into their trials and tribulations, exploring the complexities of love and relationships amidst the backdrop of historical events.

The stellar cast of 'In the Eye of the Storm' includes acclaimed actors such as Parsa Pirouzfar, Sima Tirandaz, Jahangir Almasi, Laleh Eskandari, Akbar Abdi, Mostafa Zamani, Sam Derakhshani, Gelareh Abbasi, Saeed Rad, Kambiz Dirbaz, Saeed Nikpour, Mohammad-Reza Hedayati, Houman Seyyedi, and Fakhreddin Seddiq-Sharif.
