Diving into score of iFilm's series - Part 3: ‘The Last Invitation’

Read on to know more about the score music of iFilm's 'The Last Invitation'.

In a journey through the realm of iFilm series, we embark on part 3 of our exploration, delving into the musical wonders that enrich the cinematic experience.

This time, our spotlight shines on 'The Last Invitation' – a recently concluded series on iFilm English TV.

The melodies that grace 'The Last Invitation' are brought to life by Iranian pop and traditional singer, Mohammad Esfahani, with the full name Mohammad Mahdi Vaezi Esfahani.

Born in July 5, 1966, Esfahani graduated from Iran University of Medical Sciences in 1997 while learning Persian music from veteran Iranian virtuosos.

Esfahani started practicing the Qur'an recitation at a young age, becoming proficient in three different styles taught by experienced mentors, including the Mustafa Ismail technique.

Over the years, Esfahani has released a total of 14 albums, collaborating with music maestros like Homayoun Khorram, Babak Bayat, and Fereydoun Shahbazian.

Esfahani  has vocalized the title sequence of several iFilm series including ‘The Gift of Darkness’, ‘The Redemption’, ‘Vafa’, ‘Until Being with Sorayya’ and ‘Shokraneh’.

Now, let's delve into the lyrical world of the song:

Remain by my side, oh thirsting bloom,

To love, a simple path we tread,

But love's departure, like a fading body's gloom,

Open the gates for tears to be shed.

.

In this melancholic night, my heart aches and sighs,

Stay with me, don't let my spirit break,

Tonight, my tears fall for your sorrowful goodbyes,

Heal me, for this heart is hard to forsake.

.

See the whispers you've bestowed upon the breeze,

Witness the light that pierced the shroud of night,

Between departing and staying, I'm lost in your grace,

With headless body, I'll never let you out of sight.

.

If I linger beyond you, if I breathe my last breath,

Farewell, farewell, with teardrops I bestow,

Farewell, Farewell, I kiss you in life and in death,

Farewell,

Farewell.
