Evil plans to be masterminded in ‘After the Rain’

Shahrbanou’s escape triggers Farrokh to make sure the job is done in the 26th episode of iFilm's ‘After the Rain’.

Shahrbanou's giving birth to the lord’s daughter triggers the devil within Farrokh to kick the young woman and her child out of the lord’s mansion to retrieve his old position as a child the lord never had.

To reach his goal, Farrokh plans to frame the young woman for being disloyal to the lord. Although the lord does not believe that his wife could dishonor him, he has to go along with the public and shun his wife.

In the end, Shahrbanou has no choice other than accepting the suggestion by Khanoum Bas and run away to save her life. But Farrokh takes the chance to go after her and finish what he started. Will he get what he wants?

Directed by Saeed Soltani, the series narrates the story of serfdom during a time in Iran’s history. A couple is killed in an accident, but their children believe that somebody had tampered with their car brake.

They try to find out more about their family and discover the reason for their parents’ death by reviewing the diary of their grandmother, Shahrbanou.

Notable in the series cast list are Sorayya Qasemi, Jahangir Almasi, Shahab Hosseini, Mahmoud Pakniyyat, Behzad Farahani, Marjan Mohtasham, Kioumars Malek-Motiee, and Saba Kamali.

Katayoun Riahi, Jamileh Sheykhi, Rahim Norouzi, Ramin Parchami, Mahvash Sabrkon, Pourandokht Mohaymen, Fatemeh Taheri, Fath-Ali Oveisi, Mahnaz Ansarian, Mohammad-Hadi Qomeyshi, and Nadia Deldar-Golchin are also on the cast list.
