iFilm English TV to air finale for ‘Irandokht’

iFilm English TV Channel has been set to air the final episode of the historical series ‘Irandokht’ on Sunday night.

The final episode of the series, produced by Mostafa Sharifi and directed by Mohammad-Reza Varzi, will be aired on February 11, 2024, at 22:00 GMT.

‘Irandokht’ develops a romantic story in the then Iranian society, when Sattar Khan and his companions were standing against the tyranny of the time.

The series portrays several chronological milestones in the contemporary history of Iran, including the constitutional years, historic events in Tabriz and the execution of Sheikh Fazlollah Nuri in Tehran.

It also touches upon the malicious parts played by the freemasonry in the contemporary Iranian history.

The most notable on the cast list are Pendar Akbari, Behzad Khodaveisi, Bita Farrahi, Farrokh Nemati, Masoud Abparvar, Saeed Nikpour, Iraj Rad, Fakhreddin Seddiq-Sharif, Andisheh Fouladvand, Reza Fayyazi, Darioush Kardan, and Sadreddin Shajareh.

‘Irandokht’, made in 2017, will be replaced by ‘Sheikh Bahaee’ made at the helm of Shahram Asadi.
