However, the wife keeps having dreams or nightmares at nights, seeing herself in a cave while a group of murderers want to kill her!

Produced by Zeinab Taqvaee, written by Amir Baradaran and directed by Borzou Niknejad, ‘The Household’ tells the story of a university professor named Masoud who has long wanted to marry his cousin, Samaneh, but family disputes and the opposition of Samaneh's mother have prevented this marriage.

Meanwhile, the revelation of a secret about Masoud's past changes his life. It starts with showing the life of Masoud and his father.

He lives a healthy life, exercises, and is a candidate for the university faculty; although he avoids doing interviews.

The story of the series actually begins when, during Samaneh's proposal meeting, the father faints and later tells Masoud the truth in the hospital: he is not the real son of this family.
