iFilm TV to air new series ‘Molkavan’

New Iranian series ‘Molkavan’ has been scheduled to be aired by iFilm English TV Channel.

The spiritual series, produced by Mohammad Mesripour and directed by Ahmad Moazzami, will start airing on Sunday, August 29, 2021.

‘Molkavan’ is about a woman who is shocked at the loss of her husband in a mysterious suicide case.

Mahsa, now a mother of two, was raised as an adopted child. Out of despair, she has to go back to her homeland, Iran, but faces yet even more mysterious cases.

Notable on the cast list are Nazanin Farahani, Kamand Amir-Soleymani, Amin Zendegani, Parviz Fallahipour, Daryoush Farhang, Saeed Amir-Soleymani, Fariba Motekhasses, Ghazal Nazar, the late Ali Soleymani-Saransari, Hassan Asadi, and Afsaneh Nasseri.

‘Molkavan’, made in 2020, will replace ‘Don’t Leave Me Alone’, which will be aired daily at 19:00 GMT.

iFilm English will also repeat each episode of the historical drama on the next day at 03:00, 08:00 and 14:00 (all GMT times). The series is comprised of 28 episodes.
