‘Passenger from India’ to leave iFilm TV

iFilm English TV Channel has been set to air the final episode of ‘Passenger from India’ on Tuesday.

The final episode of the series, produced by Sediqeh Sehhat and directed by Qasem Jafari, will be aired on June 25, 2024, at 20:00 GMT.

‘Passenger from India’ tells the story of Ramin who traveled from Iran to India in order to pursuit his academic studies. While there, he met and fell in love with an Indian girl named Sita.

Even though her family was opposing to the relationship, they got engaged and he whisked her away to Tehran. Thinking they have dodged past troubles, the youths in love soon realized that their problems have just begun.

The most notable on the cast are Behnoush Tabatabaee, Elham Hamidi, Shila Khodadad, Shirin Bina, Nasrin Moqanlou, Majid Moshiri, Aliram Nouraee, Iraj Nozari, Zohreh Fakour-Sabour, Felor Nazari, Farahnaz Manafi-Zaher, Hamid Goudarzi, and Soroush Goudarzi.

‘Passenger from India’, made in 2002, will be replaced by the comedy series ‘The Postgraduates’ made by Soroush Sehhat.
