The Iranis to encounter turbulences in ‘In the Eye of the Storm’: iFilm cut

In the 6th episode of the Iranian series ‘In the Eye of the Storm’ to be aired tonight at 22:00 GMT, the hardships and turbulences are not going to end for the Iranis.

When Iranian national hero Mirza Koochak Khan was martyred and the jungle movement was left without a leader, the Irani family was forced to move to another city, despite all the efforts they made to combat the enemies.

This moving will not go easy on the family members, especially the women and children, as the mother of the family is pregnant and the road situation and the load of snow on it is beyond her tolerance.

Will they get out of the predicament safe and sound?

Produced by Masoud Jafari-Jozani, Abbas Akbari, Habibollah Kasehsaz and Reza Ansarian, and directed by Jafari-Jozani, ‘In the Eye of the Storm’ spans the period of history between the revolutionary movements began by Iran's national hero Mirza Koochak Khan in the early twentieth century, to the liberation of Khoramshahr, during the eight-year war between Iran and Iraq in the 1980s.

The story is told through the trials and tribulations, love and relationships of one Iranian family.

The cast list of the flick includes Parsa Pirouzfar, Sima Tirandaz, Jahangir Almasi, Laleh Eskandari, Akbar Abdi, Mostafa Zamani, Sam Derakhshani, Gelareh Abbasi, Saeed Rad, Kambiz Dirbaz, Saeed Nikpour, Mohammad-Reza Hedayati, Houman Seyyedi, and Fakhreddin Seddiq-Sharif.

The long list of the cast goes on with Reza Shafiee-Jam, Arsalan Qasemi, the late Mahchehreh Khalili, Niyousha Zeyghami, Mahmoud Pakniyyat, Shahram Qaedi, Farhad Besharati, Sahar Jafari-Jozani, Tannaz Tabatabaee, and Fariba Motekhasses.

‘In the Eye of the Storm’, produced in 2003-2008 broadcasts daily at 22:00 GMT. Besides, each episode will be aired the following day at 04:00, 10:00, and 16:00.
