Accused learning about dreadful prison in ‘Under the Blade’

The accused is learning about how dreadful a prison can be in iFilm English TV Channel’s ‘Under the Blade’.

Mahmoud has committed something unspeakable, but he refuses to confess it.

Instead, he's waiting for an innocent person to be tried for what Mahmoud did.

In the meanwhile, he is acquiring some info about the prison’s food, loneliness, and other hardships.

The series, directed by Mohammad-Reza Honarmand, tells the story of Mahmoud’s daughter and Jafar’s son who are about to get married.

Yet, Jafar’s older brother Qodrat strongly objects to their marriage, trying to persuade his brother to cancel this arrangement.

All at once, Mahmoud gets fired for alleged stealing from the factory he has been worked in for 20 years.

Facing criminal charges, Mahmoud hears a rumor that Qodrat has framed him.

He talks to Jafar about it, but Jafar refuses to believe anything negative about his older brother.

The whole situation leads to a tension between the fathers of the soon-to-be newlyweds,” it adds.

The series cast includes Fatemeh Motamed-Arya, Parviz Parastouee, Enayat Bakhshi, Atila Pesyani, and Negar Javaherian.

Siavash Tahmoures, Ramin Rastad, Shabnam Moqaddami, Elham Hamidi, and Kourosh Tahami have also appeared in the series.
