Sattar Khan and Baqer Khan have agreed to surrender the weapons belonging to their forces with the government agreeing to pay reasonable prices for the armament.

In spite of this, disarming the Mujahedin doesn't go as planned.

The series, produced by Mostafa Sharifi and directed by Mohammad-Reza Varzi, goes on air daily at 22:00 GMT.

iFilm English TV repeats each episode of the series the next day at 04:00, 10:00 and 16:00.

‘Irandokht’ develops a romantic story in the then-Iranian society, where Sattar Khan and his companions stood against the tyranny of the time.

The series portrays several chronological milestones in the contemporary history of Iran, including the constitutional years, historic events in Tabriz and the execution of Sheikh Fazlollah Nuri in Tehran.

It also touches upon the malicious parts played by Freemasonry in contemporary Iranian history.

The most notable on the cast list are Pendar Akbari, Behzad Khodaveisi, Bita Farrahi, Farrokh Nemati, Masoud Abparvar, Saeed Nikpour, Iraj Rad, Fakhreddin Seddiq-Sharif, Andisheh Fouladvand, Reza Fayyazi, Darioush Kardan, and Sadreddin Shajareh.
